How to build healthier workplaces?

In my opinion, the more leader is ethical, the more workplace will be healthier. What do I mean by "a healthier workplace" is a context in which all employees feel happy, committed, secure and are willing to work, motivated, fare, helpful and diligent. In this regard, I can say that, such a context implies a specific organisational culture created by the leader. Here, leader refers to the top manager who is above functional or departmental managers. Then, who are the ethical leaders? Ethical leaders live both their personal and professional lives in line with ethical principles. They attach importance to ethical values more than anything. By this means, they construct a role model for their followers. They do what they preach, keep their words, trust and respect his or her followers and expect them to trust himself or herself in return, act and decide justly, place a premium for fair competition, don't tolerate unethical acts and punish who inclines such behaviours. I expect that, employees who work under command of such a leader adopt the ethical principles with time and internalise them. In that way, a healthier organisational culture emerges. Thereby, workplace becomes attractive to many employees who are either inside or outside of it. That may help improve organisational productivity as well, because, as employees feel that they are in a healthier workplace they may concentrate more on their work and spend their energy in that way. I hope everyone finds a chance to work in such a healthy workplace in their professional lives. Thanks for spending your valuable time and reading my post.
